Getting started
Energy and billing
How the agent spends energy, who pays in a space, how to top up, how subscriptions and limits work, and what happens at a zero balance.

Energy
Energy is the unit you pay for the agent's work in. Each request spends energy according to the actual cost of the models and tools the agent used. The energy of every request is shown in the request history on the status page and in the dashboard.
New accounts receive starter energy so you can try the agent right away; an account that signs up through a referral link receives more.
Who pays
- The space owner pays for the work in the space. Group members and people invited to a web chat use the owner's energy.
- In Bitrix24 and Yandex Messenger the owner of the connection pays; spend per employee is shown on the connection card.
- Through the API the owner of the key pays, and the end_user_ref field breaks spend down by each of your customers.
Topping up
- By card through Stripe, in euros: 10 energy per EUR 1, from EUR 5. VAT is added on top.
- With Telegram Stars in the Mini App.
- If card payment is not available, the dashboard sends you to support instead.
Topped-up energy never expires. Balance and top-up live on the Overview page of the dashboard.
Subscriptions
A 30-day subscription includes an energy allowance for the period plus extra features. Plans: Plus, Starter, Growth and Scale; current prices and allowances are shown in the dashboard.
| Spending order | At the end of the period |
|---|---|
| 1. The current period's included energy | Expires, except the part that rolls over |
| 2. Energy rolled over from the previous period | Rollover is capped per plan |
| 3. Top-ups | Never expire |
A plan change takes effect at the next renewal.
Spending limits
An owner can cap spending: for a whole space or for one person, per day, week (starting Monday) or month in UTC, in energy or in number of requests. When several limits apply, the strictest one wins. For Yandex 360 spaces the integration console also sets a monthly limit per employee.
When energy runs out
At a zero balance the agent starts no new requests until the owner tops up. What you will see:
- Telegram
- A message with a top-up link. In a direct chat the link signs you straight into the dashboard.
- Web chat
- A banner: if you are the payer, an offer to top up; if the space owner pays, a note asking the owner to top up.
- API
- A 402 INSUFFICIENT_CREDITS response. It is not a rate limit: retrying without a top-up will not help.
- Octo Cloud
- Deployed apps on an empty balance get daily warnings and are then shut down. The app's git repository is kept and handed to the owner.
