Yandex Mail

What the connector does

Every 5 minutes Octo checks the Inbox and takes only the Telemost meeting summary emails. From each one it stores the meeting: summary, participants, action items and the transcript link. Each new meeting is noted in the linked space's history.

Access and on whose behalf

• The mailbox of the Yandex account you connected is read. Permissions: the email address and read-only IMAP mail access.
• Read-only: Octo does not send, delete or move mail, and does not mark messages as read.
• A mailbox with no linked space is never opened.

How to connect

1. In Yandex Mail settings, turn on IMAP access for mail clients.
2. Open Integrations, Yandex Mail, click Connect and allow access at Yandex.
3. Link the space that should receive meetings. Poll now checks the mailbox without waiting.

Attaching to spaces

One mailbox per space. The ways to attach are described in Connecting services to spaces.

Limits

• The first check looks back 14 days.
• Up to 200 messages per check; messages over 15 MB are skipped.
• Only Telemost emails are used.

Troubleshooting

"Mail access stopped working"

Reconnect the mailbox. The linked spaces are kept.

"The space already takes meetings from another mailbox"

Unlink it on that mailbox's card first.

"Yandex did not tell us the mailbox address"

Connect again and allow access to the email address.

No meetings appear

Check that IMAP is on, a space is linked to the mailbox, and Telemost emails arrive in the Inbox.
